During his scientific career, he performed numerous organizational functions both in his Home Institution and in international scientific societies (he was the chairman of the Clay Minerals Society). Many times he has been awarded prizes for his scientific achievements (including the Marion L. & Christie C. Jakson Prize awarded by the Clay Mineral Society). The professor's academic achievements consist of 7 chapters in English scientific monographs, 109 publications in international journals and 2 patents. Honorary Memeber of the Mineralogical Society of Poland.
