Contest for the best master and doctoral thesis in mineralogy (mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, appplied and environmental mineralogy and geochemistry)
READ MOREThe organizer of the Competition for the best diploma theses in the field of mineralogical sciences is the Mineralogical Society of Poland. The Competition is organized annually as successive editions. The submissions are evaluated separately in the following categories: master's thesis and doctoral thesis.
The diploma thesis shall be submitted to the competition by the thesis supervisor or the graduate. The thesis should be submitted electronically by sending the following documents to the email address of the Mineralogical Society of Poland: ptmin@ptmin.pl by October 31 of the year of the given edition of the Competition.
The winners will be informed of the Competition results and the date and place of the award ceremony by December 15. The Competition winner and any recipients of distinctions will receive a diploma and prize. The summary of the thesis (after editorial review and editing) may be published in the journal Mineralogia, while a popular science description of the diploma thesis, along with a graphic illustration may be used in the informational materials of the Mineralogical Society of Poland.
